Finally the weather co-operated and Jeff had a chance to fly. Jeff had left the USA with not many flights under his belt and it showed at first, but after more instruction and practice under Instructor supervision Jeff had improved his flying ability greatly.

17 May 08 -  Paragliders Launch  - This morning the winds were strong and coming in from the North (Off Shore) producing  turbulent air, therefore the PPG pilots decided to stay on the ground. However a few of  the Paraglider and Hangglider pilots  took advantage of the high winds and went to West Bay to fly until the rain took over.  Here are a few pictures before it started to rain.

6 May 08 - What a day for flying!! - Wow, the weather forecast for today was a PPG dream come true. Surface winds were forecasted calm-5 Km. AWWS (Winds aloft 3000') were 0 all day. This king of weather phenomena is quite rare and must be taken advantage of. Well I had started this morning off with a potential student taking a Tandem ride with the Xcitor, followed by several foot launch flights( For my morning PT). Then I decided to take a 15 min break and Off I went with the Mini PPC  for a long XC flight. I flew all morning until 1300 Hrs. Then I decided to take a nap from this hard work then cleaned up my PPG shop and completed some post maintenance. Later on in the evening I foot launched a couple more flights until it was starting to get dark. Today was definitely the most flying I've done in a single day. You've gotta love day's like this!!
