27 March 2008 - Elisabeth's 50th Birthday
- Johanne bought a nice cheesecake for Elisabeth to help to celebrate her
birthday today. Eric and I played some pool and in the afternoon Wayne and Susan
Mitchler had stopped by Eric's place. Later on in the evening we waited
for the wind to come down and Eric, Wayne and I flew a short flight.

21 March 2008 - ECO 4 for Sale- Due to the recent
purchase of our new Xcitor, PPGNB will be selling our ECO 4 trike. This
trike is the only one of it's kind in North America, it is extremely quiet and
fuel efficient supporting a Flanders 35 HP 4 stroke engine. The ECO 4 is a great
light tandem trike that is extremely well built, it has tundra tires and can be
folded down into a compact unit. This trike new with a Sting 250 glider
retails for over $20,000.00 U.S. This unit has around 20 Hrs on the Trike
and less than 10 on the Glider. This unit is in showroom condition and will be
selling for $14,500.00(CDN) trike only and $16,500.00 with a Powerplay Sting 250
Glider.
20 March 08 - Happy Easter
- Johanne and I will like to wish everyone a Happy Easter. We now have a Fresh
Breeze Xcitor(C-IHWP) added to PPGNB's fleet. This aircraft is the Cadillac of Tandem
PPC's and will allow my school to conduct tandem introductory flights to new
students. Courses will start in early May, See ya soon!! Frank
10 March 08 - Xcitor flight this morning
- Eric and I flew a XC flight up to the St John River this
morning. The Xcitor covers lots of ground in a short amount of time. Great
to fly this aircraft!!
27 Feb 08 - Spring Florida Fly-In - 28 - 30
March 2008 - It's not winter here! Paul
Czarnecki of UCanFly2 and the Pine Island Airport are hosting pilots for their
second event. So if you need to warm up, come on down! This will be the
closet event to a Florida Convention that will be held in 2008. Camping is
allowed on location as well as many local B&Bs on the water, hotels and
places to eat. Pilots can fly Sanibel Island, Ft Myers Beach, Cabbage Key

24 Feb 08 - New PPGNB Photo - I would like to thank Rob
Robinson from the Sussex area for the great photo he had made of past PPGNB
students. Rob will be starting his training early in May 08. Thanks Rob!!
21 Feb 08 - More Pictures from California - We arrived back
from California a couple of days ago. These pictures below were taken by
Marty. As you can see we all had a fantastic time together with the
Paraflyers group for Florida. Star Wars was filmed in Glamis, CA and you
feel like you are on another planet. In a couple of days, Johanne will
post more pictures under the Salton Sea, CA Fly-In 2008

10 Feb 08 - Salton Sea, California Wrap Up - The
Para Toys Fly-In at Salton Sea California has been the best event for us
snowbirds. We were able to sleep in and fly all day until evening.
The weather was extremely warm on the weekend and the campfires keep us toasty
warm at night with good friends and entertainment. According to my GPS, we
are 4446 kms from home as the crow flies. Jo had a tandem with Eric this
evening on the Xcitor. Having a great time, we'll post a link for this event at
a later date.
Eric took Johanne up on the Excitor and followed me down the coast line
6 Feb 08 - New Walkerjet motor at Salton Sea, California
- Viktor
& Patricie, owners of Walkerjet CZ are here at the Salton Sea Fly-In. They
had brought their new WJ design to show their new line. Lots of flying
today, this morning was a little cold to Florida standards but this evenings
flight was excellent!! Having a great time!! Frank

5 Feb 08 - Salton Sea, California - Last night I flew the
California Sand Dunes with Bob, Marty, Mike and Stan before we arrived in Salton
Sea late last night..
1 Feb 08 - Salton Sea, California - Jo and I are off to
Salton Sea Fly-In today. We won't be back to Florida until approx 21 Feb
08. We will not have access to our E-Mail until our return to Florida.
